Privacy policy

This policy explains what we collect when you ask a question, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Your question.
- Your first name, birth date, birth time (if you know it) and birth place.
- Your email address and mobile number, and whether you want the answer by email or WhatsApp.
- How you found Plainsay, if you tell us.
- Payment status and a payment reference from Razorpay. We never receive your card, bank or UPI details.
Why we collect it
Only to prepare your reading, deliver it, handle refunds, and reply to you about your order. We count questions and repeat questions in aggregate to understand whether the service works. We do not sell your data, and we do not send you marketing unless you ask for it.
Who handles it for us
- Netlify, which hosts this site and receives the form you fill in.
- Razorpay, which processes your payment.
- An AI model provider (currently Anthropic), which helps prepare the reading. We send it your chart and your question, not your name, email or phone number.
- Email and WhatsApp, which carry the answer to you.
Some of these providers process data outside India.
How long we keep it
We delete your question, birth details and contact details within 90 days of sending your answer, or sooner if you ask. Payment records are kept for as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, at any time. Write to hello@plainsay.pro and we will act within 7 days.
